Viviane St-Louis

Since 2023, Viviane has been a graduate of the Université de Montréal after completing her bachelor's and master's degrees in psychoeducation. Since then, she has been a member of the Ordre des psychoéducateurs et psychoéducatrices du Québec (OPPQ), using her skills to offer her clients a caring, flexible approach. Throughout her university studies, Viviane worked in community organizations. She had the opportunity to develop her expertise with a clientele of various ages and with intellectual disabilities (ID), Down's syndrome and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Her experience with this clientele has enabled her to recognize the specificities of each age, experience and context, so as to develop strategies that respect each person's needs and promote self-determination. Viviane then broadened her experiences by working in school and public settings to intervene with people with adjustment challenges such as Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD/ADHD), anxiety, giftedness, emotional regulation and oppositional disorder, while offering parent coaching for the parents of young people. Through all these experiences, Viviane has developed an analytical capacity that enables her to fully understand each individual's abilities and difficulties in adapting. As a result, she offers an approach focused on respecting individual needs and developing a secure environment adapted to each person. Finally, outside of work, Viviane enjoys climbing, aerial sports and crocheting, as well as spending time with her family, friends and cat.
