Neuropsychologist in private practice (salaried) and neuropsychology students (doctoral level)

Description :

Under the supervision of the Director of Neuropsychology Services, the professional is responsible for carrying out neuropsychological assessments. To this end, you will perform the following tasks:

Meet with the parents, adolescent or adult being assessed, for the anamnesis session;
Select and administer the psychometric tests required for the assessment ;
Correct and interpret test results, communicating as needed with all contacts involved (teacher, principal, psychologist, orthopedagogue, physician, etc.);
Writing an evaluation report ;
Lead the report session and interpret it for the customer.

Psychologists and/or psychotherapists

Description :

‍

Under the supervision of the manager of the psychology and psychotherapy department, the professional is responsible for individualized or family follow-up with children, adolescents or adults presenting a variety of psychological problems.

You will be required to perform the following tasks:

Carry out assessments and follow-ups as part of psychotherapy sessions;
Possibility of specific affective and cognitive assessment mandates;
Collaboration with partners, particularly in the case of participation in institutional mandates;
Maintain accurate records for each customer;
Draft letters and reports as required;
Participation in team meetings;
Possibility of offering consultation and/or supervision;
Opportunity to build and offer training courses;
Opportunity to get involved in various projects.

Orthopedagogue in private practice

Description :

Under the supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Services, the orthopedagogue is responsible for providing individualized follow-up for children and/or adolescents with academic difficulties, delays or learning disabilities.

‍

To do this, you will have to carry out your work within the following framework:

The orthopedagogue must familiarize himself with the client's file when he begins a follow-up.
After analyzing the file, the remedial teacher meets with the client (and parent, if applicable) for an initial appointment to discuss the objectives to be achieved through follow-up.
For follow-up, the orthopedagogue must plan activities by consulting the clinic's various games or web references to ensure rigorous work.
At the end of the meeting or day, the remedial teacher must update the client's file.
The remedial teacher may sometimes need to communicate with the various parties involved in the client's case.

Description :

Under the supervision of the clinic's assistant director, the psychoeducator is responsible for individualized follow-up of elementary and/or secondary students with adjustment difficulties.

To this end, the psychoeducator/psychoeducator carries out his or her work within the following framework:

The psychoeducator must assess the child's needs before beginning follow-up.
During the follow-up, the psychoeducator must prepare activities that will help the child achieve his or her objectives.
At the end of the session or day, the psychoeducator must update the client's file.
The psychoeducator/psychoeducator may sometimes need to communicate with the various parties involved in the child's file.

Speech therapist

Description :

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, Rehabilitation Services, the team of Speech-Language Pathologists will be responsible for providing consultation, assessment and individualized follow-up services for preschool-aged children with communication and language difficulties. To achieve this, the speech therapists will be required to develop an appropriate framework for operating this new service within CERC.

The project aims to set up the speech therapy department within CERC :

We are therefore looking for two motivated professionals who want to get involved in building this new department. As the demand for this service is very high, we'd like to build the department in collaboration with the speech therapists who will be joining the team, so that they can contribute their expertise to the development of the project.

With all the essential resources at our disposal to make this initiative a success (offices, tools, a team of dedicated experts and a solid administrative team), we're convinced that all we need is you to get the ball rolling!
