Vicky Sabourin

Psychoeducator

Vicky Sabourin holds a master's degree in psychoeducation from the Université du Québec en Outaouais and is a member of the OPPQ. For over 10 years, she has been helping young people, adolescents, and adults manage life transitions, complex behaviors, and family crises. During her postgraduate studies, she became interested in the impact of sports on children's success. She also has training in business management, which has enriched her understanding of different personal and professional contexts.

Vicky has expertise in working with a variety of clients, including those in high-risk situations or who are involved in delinquency. She supports all those involved in order to promote lasting change in different areas of personal and family life. Her areas of expertise include emotion management, ADHD and impulsivity/aggression, anger management, mental health disorders, substance abuse, eating disorders, self-esteem, as well as couples counseling, parenting coaching, and transitions related to blended families.

She focuses on each person's strengths and the development of meaningful goals, tailoring her interventions to each person's unique pace and needs. Vicky also places great importance on sports and artistic values as tools for development and adaptation, promoting self-confidence, perseverance, and overall well-being. She is described as an attentive, structured, available, and attentive practitioner who combines professionalism, non-judgment, and concrete support to consolidate achievements and accompany individuals toward adaptation and lasting well-being.
