Véronique Gilbert

Remedial teacher

Véronique Gilbert is a graduate of Université de Montréal in orthopedagogy. She first worked in a special education class with students presenting a variety of learning and adjustment difficulties, before moving on to work with sub-groups of students on specific reading, writing and math objectives.

Curious by nature, she has a varied background. After earning a bachelor's degree in psychology from Université Laval, she was drawn to learning. With a desire to understand how everything works, she would like to make learning accessible and attractive to all. Orthopedagogy thus enables her to identify and clarify the difficulties presented by learners in terms of knowledge, strategies and cognitive processes.

Véronique joined the CERC team to help elementary and high school students, college and university students, and even adults with all kinds of learning challenges.
