Veronica Jora

Field coordinator and psychoeducator

I graduated from the Université de Sherbrooke with a master's degree in psychoeducation and am a practicing psychoeducator with the Ordre des psychoéducateurs et psychoéducatrices du Québec (OPPQ). Throughout my university career, I've gained experience working with a wide range of clients in a variety of settings: anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorder, physical disabilities, behavioural problems, challenges related to migration, in day-care centers, schools, hospitals, community settings, and more. Also, as part of my Master's degree, I developed a project to contribute to my internship environment in terms of intervention with students from immigrant backgrounds.

In my work, I focus on the strengths, autonomy and empowerment of each individual. In addition to a caring approach that respects each individual's rhythm.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time in nature, painting, reading or playing sports. I'm someone who's always up to date on the latest advances and discoveries in my field, which I'm passionate about.
