Sonia Virmontois

Neuropsychologist

After obtaining a Master's degree in Clinical Neuropsychology in France, Sonia worked in a neurology department in Bordeaux, caring for patients with neurocognitive and mood disorders. Sonia then moved to Montreal to join the multidisciplinary team at CERC. A member of the Ordre des Psychologues, Sonia specializes in the assessment and management of various disorders in children and adolescents, including neurodevelopmental (e.g., ADHD, language disorders, intellectual development disorders, specific learning disorders, etc.), behavioral and psychoaffective disorders. Sonia is also certified in autism spectrum disorder assessment. She works with the family and school team to ensure a better understanding of the profile of the young people she accompanies, so as to guide them towards optimal care adapted to their needs. 

In her spare time, Sonia enjoys a variety of sports, reading, puzzles and sharing time with loved ones.
