Shannie Hamel-Carrier

Working in the field of helping relationships for the past 9 years, Shannie has had the opportunity to intervene with a variety of clienteles in a variety of settings, including a group home affiliated with a youth center, rehabilitation centers for people with intellectual disabilities and pervasive developmental disorders, and a shelter for women in difficulty (as coordinator of caregivers). Over the years, she has developed professional skills working with children, adolescents and adults who have undergone various adverse experiences (neglect, trauma, various forms of violence, poverty, delinquent behavior, drug addiction, etc.). She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology (2017) fromUniversité de Sherbrooke and a master's degree in clinical sexology (2022) fromUniversité du Québec à Montréal.
