Psycho-educational trainee

Salim-Rayane Mohamedi is a master's student in psychoeducation at the Université de Montréal. Rayane holds a bachelor's degree in psychoeducation with honors, and has both research and clinical experience. Since 2021, Rayane has had the chance to explore various areas of the helping relationship. In fact, he has had the opportunity to work in direct contact with clients in youth protection and to act as a clinical support professional, thus approaching a clinical counselor posture.

His curiosity about humanity and his desire to help others led him to the field of psychoeducation as a career choice. Whether working with young people in youth protection or as a clinical counselor, he has explored a stimulating environment while working with a diverse clientele. He has had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents and adults presenting adjustment challenges related to a variety of issues, including anxiety disorders, attachment problems, behavioral disorders, attention deficit disorders and oppositional disorders. Rayane is committed to providing her clients with a genuine presence, total availability, a caring attitude, sincere empathy and, above all, attentive consideration for their needs. Whether it's regulating emotions, managing anxiety, building social skills or enhancing self-esteem, Rayane emphasizes the importance of building on his clients' strengths and interests, while respecting their own pace of change. He describes himself as dynamic, persevering and collaborative. In his spare time, Rayane loves video games and has a wealth of expertise in the field.
