Sakina Rhofir

Remedial teacher

Passionate about education, Sakina completed a Bachelor's degree in preschool and elementary education at the Université du Québec en Outaouais in 2018. Having developed a keen interest in special education, she decided to pursue her studies in the Master's program in Orthopedagogy in 2020, where she was awarded a Dean's Citation for Excellence.

During her university career, Sakina worked as a research assistant on various educational projects, and joined the CERC team several years ago. Since the start of her career as a remedial educator, she has worked with many preschool and elementary school students with special needs. 

Sakina stands out for her dedication, her great adaptability to children's needs, and her desire to constantly perfect her practice. She uses a caring approach and encourages learning through play.

In her spare time, Sakina enjoys getting away to nature and reading books on psychology and well-being.
