Pénélope Asselin

Remedial teacher

Pénélope Asselin holds a bachelor's degree in elementary and preschool teaching, as well as a professional master's in remedial education. She has gained experience with different clienteles over the years, through four teaching internships covering all primary and preschool cycles, and a fifth internship in orthopedagogy during her master's degree. She has also acquired a wealth of experience as a teacher at the CSSDM in regular elementary schools, as well as in special needs elementary and secondary schools since 2019. Pénélope has worked with a wide variety of clienteles, including students with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, language disorders, intellectual disabilities and motor disabilities.  

In her spare time, Penelope enjoys all the creative and playful activities she can get her hands on, from sewing and cooking to dancing, drawing, puzzles and board games.
