Marie-Michèle Bergeron

Endowed with a colorful and passionate personality, Marie-Michèle first completed a bachelor's degree in scenography, where she developed her creativity and ability to find innovative solutions in a variety of contexts. Although art offered her a rich experience in learning and human collaboration, she lacked the dimension of the helping relationship that deeply animated her. Wishing to put her ability to listen and her interest in people at the service of others, she turned to psychoeducation, pursuing a certificate in addiction rehabilitation, then a bachelor's and master's degree in psychoeducation, enabling her to join the Ordre des psychoéducateurs et psychoéducatrices du Québec (OPPQ).
Over the course of her career, Marie-Michèle has acquired a wealth of experience working with a variety of clienteles. She has worked in youth centers, in outpatient rehabilitation with families, in community settings with adolescents, and in schools, where she contributed to the implementation of the Ékip referential, promoting the development of socio-emotional skills in children. Her interventions, both in groups and individually, are part of a preventive and educational approach aimed at equipping young people and their families.
Stimulated by the transmission of knowledge, Marie-Michèle particularly enjoys training, coaching and supervising other professionals, as well as getting involved in social projects. Curious and on a constant quest to learn, she closely follows new scientific research and takes an interest in approaches related to psychoeducation in order to enrich her practice.
In her spare time, she enjoys recharging her batteries in nature with her loved ones, sharing carefully prepared meals with her family, and immersing herself in reading to feed her thirst for knowledge and imagination.
