Justin Martinovitch
Justin Martinovitch is a master's student in psychoeducation at Université de Montréal. He holds a bachelor's degree in psychoeducation and a certificate in criminology.
His passion for the helping relationship has grown through his various experiences and involvement with a diverse clientele. He gained four years' experience as an educator in a group home specializing in attachment disorders for the Centre jeunesse de Montréal. Justin also completed a one-year clinical internship at CIUSSS Centre-Sud de Montréal in family rehabilitation for a clientele aged 0 to 12. Since September 2023, he has also been working in a private clinic as a psychosocial counsellor.
Through his training and experience, he has specialized in working with children under the care of the Direction de la protection de la jeunesse (DPJ) presenting a variety of adjustment difficulties, such as attachment disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, behavioral disorders and oppositional disorder. Thanks to his training in psycho-education, he has developed numerous skills in analysis, adapted activity planning and differentiated intervention techniques.
Always focused on customer needs, he develops and implements various clinical tools, such as emulation systems, behavioral contracts, functional assessments and behavior analysis grids.
