Estelle Arcand
With a master's degree from the Université de Montréal, Estelle first practiced psychoeducation as a member of the Ordre des psychoéducateurs et psychoéducatrices du Québec (OPPQ). Her academic career has been rewarded with several distinctions of excellence, as well as a scholarship for commitment in 2019. She is now pursuing her training in clinical supervision as part of a participatory intervention program at the graduate level. Estelle is also currently completing her psychotherapy internship at CERC.
For over ten years, Estelle has accumulated experience working in helping relationships with a variety of clients. She has specialized in the field of addictions. Estelle has also worked in multi-ethnic contexts, in gerontology, in homelessness, with children, families and adolescents, in social pediatrics and in mental health. She is a dedicated, creative and rigorous professional. It's a pleasure for her to co-construct interventions adapted to the needs of each individual, while fostering their autonomy and putting their strengths to the fore.
Mindfulness, humanistic and cognitive-behavioral approaches are the hallmarks of her psychotherapy services.
In her spare time, Estelle devotes herself to art, nature and sports. She is curious and passionate about advances in her field, as well as environmental and socio-political phenomena.
