Émilie Lannes

Émilie Lannes is a doctoral student at the Université de Sherbrooke, in the child, adolescent and parent psychology program. She also holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from McGill University. At CERC, she offers psychotherapy services as an intern under the supervision of Dr. Marie-Hélène Guay, psychologist, to a clientele presenting a variety of problems, including relationship difficulties, self-esteem, emotion management, anxiety and depression. Her target clientele are children, adolescents and parents.
Favoring a psychodynamic approach, Émilie also integrates systemic, humanistic and attachment theory notions into her practice. She works in play therapy with the very young, as well as in talk, dyadic and family therapy. She also offers parent coaching services. A firm believer that it is within a secure relationship that people access their potential for psychological growth, Émilie strives to offer a therapeutic space imbued with empathy, kindness and respect to all her clients.
Alongside her studies, Émilie worked with children and teenagers in youth centers and with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
In her spare time, Émilie enjoys playing music, dancing and singing. She also loves to read and spend time with friends and family.
