Elina Barthe

Neuropsychologist

After completing a master's degree in neuropsychology in France, Elina met the requirements of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec and obtained her Quebec diploma by equivalence. She is skilled in assessing and diagnosing neuropsychological disorders.

During her training, Elina carried out several internships and a residency with diverse populations. She worked with ageing people with minor and major neurocognitive disorders, and with adults suffering from drug-resistant epilepsy, for whom she wrote her dissertation. Last but not least, Elina has also assessed and cared for children and adolescents with various disorders (attention deficit with or without hyperactivity/impulsivity, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, Tourette's syndrome, language disorders, intellectual disability, high intellectual potential, behavioral and psycho-affective problems, etc.). She also works with family members, caregivers and teaching staff to help them better understand the profile of the young people she encounters, and to guide them towards the most appropriate care.

Today, Elina continues her career with CERC's multidisciplinary team, putting her knowledge and qualities to good use. In addition to her interpersonal skills with clients, her supervisors - most recently Maxime Corric and Dr Ferland - have repeatedly praised her commitment, seriousness and friendliness. Creative and an avid skater, you're sure to come across her in winter on the city's many skating rinks, or enjoying concerts by her favorite artists.
