Elena Mortier

Neuropsychologist

Elena Mortier studied psychology in Belgium, graduating from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2016 with a master's degree in psychology with a focus on neuropsychology and cognitive development.
During her training, she carried out internships with adults presenting psychiatric problems, as well as with elderly people in a geriatric service, which enabled her to develop solid clinical experience with different populations.

Passionate about child development, after graduating she specialized in pediatric assessment and support. Established as a neuropsychologist in independent practice since 2017, she has accompanied children, adolescents and adults with a variety of cognitive disorders: ADD/ADHD, high intellectual potential (giftedness), academic, behavioral, psychoaffective or organizational difficulties. Her career path has also led her to run training courses for teachers, conferences for parents and professionals, and hands-on workshops for children.

Eager to broaden her expertise, she moved to Montreal in 2023 and completed her equivalency with CERC, under the supervision of Dr. Marjolaine Masson. Today, she is a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec and holds the attestation for the evaluation of neuropsychological disorders.

Elena's approach is based on listening and caring. Her interventions aim to provide a better understanding of the young person's strengths and challenges, while guiding parents and school staff towards appropriate, concrete solutions.

When she's not working, you might find her out and about with her dog, or solving mysteries in escape games!
