Dr Marjolaine Masson

Neuropsychologist and supervisor

Dr. Marjolaine Masson completed her PhD in neuropsychology at the University of Lyon (France) in 2011. She then moved to Quebec to complete two post-doctorates: at Laval University in 2013 and at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute in 2015. Her research focused on setting up cognitive remediation programs to help people live better with their cognitive disorders and everyday challenges. She is a member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec. She is also certified to assess neuropsychological disorders and holds the title of psychotherapist.

Marjolaine has varied clinical experience in the field of neuropsychology, but her main interest is in the assessment and management of cognitive difficulties in people with neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g. attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity-ADHD) or neurological disorders (e.g. traumatic brain injury, stroke, concussion).

Marjolaine also works to equip parents and teachers/caregivers who work with children with neurodevelopmental disorders or learning difficulties, through the creation of training programs, webinars and video capsules.

Marjolaine is passionate about Swing (jazz music, 20s-40s dance, Charleston outfits) and dances LindyHop as well as SoloJazz.
