Dr Benoît Hammarrenger
Dr. Hammarrenger graduated from the Université de Montréal in 2003. He completed his thesis with children at Hôpital Sainte-Justine in Montreal, and honed his skills during an internship in Brussels, Belgium.
Dr. Hammarrenger practiced neuropsychology for 6 years at the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital in Laval. At the same time, he founded CERC, which he has directed since 2003. Dr. Hammarrenger's areas of expertise are Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children and adults, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) in children, and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in adults.
Dr. Hammarrenger is now a well-known lecturer, regularly giving talks in schools to parents and teachers alike. He is also recognized and consulted by the media on subjects such as ADHD, oppositional disorder and youth education. Finally, he has been recognized as an expert by the Youth Court for cases entrusted to the Direction de la Protection de la Jeunesse (DPJ).
