Chaïma Meneceur

Neuropsychology intern

Chaïma earned her degree as a psychologist specializing in neuropsychology from the University of Strasbourg in 2020. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in clinical and research neuropsychology (PsyD/PhD) at UQÀM. Her research focuses on the effects of physical activity in young people with ADHD, with the goal of better understanding the immediate impact of exercise on their cognitive functioning.

Before joining the CERC team, she gained several years of clinical experience in Quebec under the supervision of Dr. Marie-Claude Guay. There, she developed in-depth expertise in the assessment of neurodevelopmental and learning disorders among pediatric patients. Her integrated training in research and clinical practice allows her to ground her work in the most recent evidence-based findings. She places great importance on building a relationship of trust with young people and their families, whom she supports with kindness through a collaborative and playful approach tailored to each child’s pace and needs.

Curious and passionate by nature, she has a keen interest in travel and sports, with motorcycling holding a special place among her passions.
