Arianne Groleau

Arianne holds a bachelor’s degree in psychoeducation from the University of Montreal and is currently completing her master’s degree in psychoeducation at the University of Sherbrooke. Since 2020, she has been working with children and adults with special needs, particularly those with severe behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorder (levels 1–3), and mild to profound intellectual disabilities. Throughout her career, she has worked in various settings, ranging from community-based organizations to the health and social services sector and schools. She also completed her master’s internship in pediatric palliative care—a deeply moving and human experience—working with a diverse clientele. Previously, she provided home-based support to young people and families navigating moments of great vulnerability related to the loss of a child. All these experiences have shaped her into a professional who is passionate about people, sensitive, committed, and compassionate—someone who takes the well-being of each individual to heart by considering their strengths, goals, and abilities. Her professional journey has enabled her to develop solid expertise in supporting young people and parents facing a variety of adjustment challenges, such as behavioral issues, emotion regulation, social skills, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, grief-related issues, and all matters related to autism spectrum disorder. In her practice, Arianne pays particular attention to listening to her clients, while tailoring her interventions to each person’s needs and respecting their pace. Outside of work, Arianne enjoys various sports and loves spending quality time with family and friends.
