Anne-marie Flibotte
Ms. Anne-Marie Flibotte completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Criminology at the University of Ottawa in 2011. From 2011 to 2014, she worked in several classes at a large elementary school in grades 2, 3, 5 and 6. She helped students with difficulties mainly in French and math. She also offered her services to help with homework at the same school. It was through these jobs that she discovered her vocation: helping young people with learning difficulties. Her desire to do more and more, subsequently led her to complete a Master's degree in Orthopedagogy at Université de Montréal in the winter of 2014. She then went on to teach in a private clinic as part of the PPCA program (Programme de Préparation aux Concours d'Admission dans les écoles privées).
As part of her internship at the Université de Montréal and her work experience, she has been called upon to work with many students with ADHD, with a wide variety of difficulties and needs. As a result, she knows exactly how to adapt her interventions to each of her clients. Anne-Marie stands out for her creativity, originality and great dedication. She uses play and manipulation to enable her students to learn in different ways. She has an uncanny ability to create a bond of trust with her students, encouraging them not only to learn, but to surpass themselves despite their difficulties.
