Anik Thibault
Anik Thibault holds bachelor's and master's degrees in psychoeducation from Université de Montréal. She has been practicing as a psychoeducator with the Ordre des psychoéducateurs et psychoéducatrices du Québec (OPPQ) since May 2024. Her curiosity about humanity and her desire to help others led her to psychoeducation as a career choice. Since 2022, Anik has had the opportunity to work in the helping professions. Whether as a rehabilitation agent in elementary schools, or during her internships in schools, she has explored a stimulating environment, while working with a diverse clientele. She has had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents and adults presenting adjustment challenges related to a variety of issues, such as anxiety disorders, attachment problems, behavioral disorders, attention deficit disorders and oppositional disorders. Anik is committed to providing her clients with a genuine presence, total availability, a caring attitude, sincere empathy and, above all, attentive consideration for their needs. Whether regulating emotions, managing anxiety, enhancing social skills or improving self-esteem, Anik emphasizes the importance of building on her clients' strengths and interests, while respecting their own pace of change. She describes herself as dynamic, persevering and collaborative. Finally, in her spare time, Anik loves outdoor sporting activities, playing field hockey and spending quality time with her loved ones and her dog.
