It takes the form of a four-level scale ranging from silence to shouting. The tool takes the form of a poster to be printed and affixed to a surface visually accessible to the child. Before using it, it is advisable to explain the tool to the children by leading discussions on the different volumes and proposing situational scenarios to help them understand the expectations. This tool also enables children to think about the appropriate volume for each activity, thus fostering consideration for others and management of their working environment.
